For reasons known only to themselves (it looks like something Linda Blair spewed up in The Exorcist), H J Heinz has developed a green ketchup, which has now hit the Australian market. If you’ve succumbed, exorcise it from your home! Ketchup was bad enough already, because of the high fructose corn syrup and ‘natural flavours’ (a source of MSG) but in order to make it green, food dye Yellow #5 (which can cause ADHD) is added, as well as Blue #11, (aka Aluminium Lake, which is associated with Alzheimer’s disease and kidney problems). And, how do you reckon they remove the original red colour? Chlorine?
