Depression

Many people are on anti-depressants, which are addictive, dangerous, and are themselves causes of depression. Following the rules, with particular emphasis on avoiding all artificial sweeteners, is often enough to banish this debilitating condition. Re-hydrating the body is essential. As Dr Batmanghelidj’s book explains, “With dehydration, the level of energy generation in the brain is decreased. Many functions of the brain that depend on this type of energy become inefficient.” And I don’t mean taking coffee, tea, soft drinks, milk, etc. I am referring to pure, un-fluoridated water. Make this a part of your life, and never deviate. Should you elect to stop taking anti-depressants, remember that this can be tricky, and should be done with the help of a qualified, understanding professional. Despite the claims of the manufacturers, who, as usual, lie shamelessly to protect their profits, these drugs are addictive and quitting should be done under careful supervision. Depression can often be banished by correcting an under-active thyroid gland.
